Recently, the Department of Veterans Affairs of Shandong Province and Shandong Federation of Trade Unions jointly released the list of winners for the 3rd "Shandong Provincial Star of Veteran Employment and Star of Veteran Entrepreneurship". Meanwhile, the Bureau of Veterans Affairs of Weifang Municipality and Weifang Federation of Trade Unions jointly issued the list for the 2nd "Weifang Municipal Star of Veteran Employment and Star of Veteran Entrepreneurship". Pan Hao, a veteran from our county and General Manager of Shandong Best Integrated Housing Co., Ltd., was awarded the title of "Shandong Provincial Star of Veteran Entrepreneurship". Lang Wenhai, another local veteran, won the title of "Weifang Municipal Star of Veteran Employment". Wang Ronghua, veteran and General Manager of Fengxiao Agricultural Products Co., Ltd., received the honorary title of "Weifang Municipal Star of Veteran Entrepreneurship".

In recent years, the county’s veteran affairs system has thoroughly implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on veteran-related work. By delivering job opportunities to their doorsteps, providing training at home, and granting funding support directly to veterans, the system helps veterans complete role transition and achieve more stable employment and sound business development. It has also intensified publicity for outstanding and dedicated veteran role models, continuously boosted veterans’ enthusiasm for employment and entrepreneurship, and encouraged them to make new contributions to economic and cultural development, fostering a sound atmosphere for dedication and entrepreneurship across society.

Pan Hao, a native of Panjiabu Village, Yiyuan Sub-district, enlisted in 2004 in a military unit stationed in Gansu Province. After retiring from active service in 2012, he responded actively to the government’s call to start his own business. Upholding the fine qualities of a serviceman after discharge, he embodies the unique sense of responsibility inherent to military personnel. With integrity, diligence and perseverance, he has achieved fruitful results. His enterprise maintains sound growth momentum, making him one of the outstanding veteran entrepreneurs in Weifang City. The business partners of his founded Best Integrated Housing Co., Ltd. are spread across the country, including China Aerospace, China Railway, China State Construction International, CSCEC Middle East, military support departments and other entities. The company’s annual sales volume now exceeds 50 million RMB.In 2022, he was successively honored as "Star of Veteran Entrepreneurship in Linqu County" and "Star of Veteran Entrepreneurship in Weifang City". In 2023, he won the First Prize in the 3rd Weifang Veteran Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition and was awarded the title of "Shandong Provincial Star of Veteran Entrepreneurship".

Lang Wenhai, a native of Langjiawa Village, Dongcheng Sub-district, enlisted in 2004 into a unit of the Strategic Support Force. Since his transfer from the military to the County Veterans Service Center in 2021, he has devoted himself to veteran affairs with profound respect and wholehearted enthusiasm. With pen, camera and microphone, he records on-site stories, spreads positive voices, assists people in difficulties, and provides sincere services for active-duty military personnel, veterans and other entitled groups. Through publicity and promotion, he connects market resources and expands marketing channels for Linqu’s veteran-founded enterprises and their products, raises the visibility of Linqu’s veteran entrepreneurship brand, and helps veterans emerge as a new highlight and driving force boosting county-level economic development. With practical actions, he continues to fulfill the mission and responsibility of veterans who “remain true to their original aspiration after leaving military service” in the new era.
