Good News! Local Veterans Pan Hao and Wang Ronghua Win First Prizes in the Emerging Industry Track and Rural Revitalization Track Respectively at the 3rd Weifang Veteran Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition

On September 27, the 3rd Weifang Veteran Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition was jointly hosted by the Bureau of Veterans Affairs of Weifang Municipality, Working Committee of the Weifang Municipal Party Committee for Government Organs, Weifang Municipal Bureau of Education, Weifang Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Weifang Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, Weifang Federation of Trade Unions and the Communist Youth League Weifang Municipal Committee. After fierce competition among outstanding veteran entrepreneurs across the city, our county’s veterans Pan Hao and Wang Ronghua claimed top honors, winning the First Prize in the Emerging Industry Track and the Rural Revitalization Track respectively. The County Bureau of Veterans Affairs was awarded the Excellent Organization Award of the competition.

The 3rd Weifang Veteran Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition is of great significance for pooling entrepreneurship and innovation resources, guiding forces from all sectors of society to support veteran entrepreneurship and innovation, stimulating veterans’ enthusiasm for starting businesses and making innovations, and accelerating the transformation of military human resources into an important driving force for economic and social development.

Since the launch of this competition, the County Bureau of Veterans Affairs has carried out publicity in various forms, widely distributed competition promotional materials, and pushed competition information to veterans in our county in a targeted manner to encourage more veterans to take part. It has further explored the stories behind veteran entrepreneurs, helping all sectors of society gain a better understanding of veterans and jointly foster a sound atmosphere of “mass entrepreneurship and innovation” and respect for veterans.

After screening, the County Bureau of Veterans Affairs recommended Pan Hao, General Manager of Shandong Best Integrated Housing Co., Ltd., and Wang Ronghua, General Manager of Linqu Fengxiao Agricultural Products Co., Ltd., to participate in the competition. After rigorous rounds including qualification review, roadshow presentation, defense and comprehensive scoring, the two won the First Prizes of the Emerging Industry Track and Rural Revitalization Track respectively. Their achievements fully demonstrate the demeanor of veteran entrepreneurs in our county who “remain true to their original aspiration after leaving military service and make contributions in the new era”. Meanwhile, the County Bureau of Veterans Affairs received the Excellent Organization Award.

Going forward, the County Bureau of Veterans Affairs will strengthen publicity of veteran entrepreneurship role models, strive to inspire the enthusiasm of veterans for entrepreneurship and innovation, guide more veterans to aspire to, dare to and be capable of starting businesses, and continuously improve the quality of entrepreneurship and innovation among veterans in our county.
